Arkus is an established & quickly growing packaging supply/equipment/service company, which takes upon a mission to get clients what their operation needs, at the most reasonable price, with full service package.
Since the company has been operating for quite some time, the branding had already established quite a reputation and was recognizable among the interested parties. So the mission was not to overhaul it completely, but rather give it fresh re-take, which would retain the symbolism, overall image of the brand, but in a more modern and clean way.
Web development – UI wise, the website had to be in line with set brand characteristics, so everything mentioned previously, applies here as well. UX wise, as with many B2B websites, which list their complicated products/services, the problem was that the portrayed solutions we’re more intended for people who know about packaging, rather then those who don’t know & are searching for partner who could help them in that part of their business. So the content had to be tailored for quick & simple recognition amongst any type of audiences and direct the users to contact sales representatives for more detailed and tailored solution. This way the client doesn’t need to worry about what product would fit better for their situation, wouldn’t overpay and overall had better experience.
Arkus needed a website, which could easily communicate information to people who don’t specifically have the thorough knowledge of packaging industry and it’s product. For example: equipment models don’t serve any purpose, so by giving them abstract icon look, the client gets clear information and the company gets ease of mind, from supplier representation needs point of view.
